Sound Massage

Finally, I have taken up the opportunity to learn about Sound Massage. From memory, before Covid times, I was talking about the Sound Massage courses that Ute from Sound Massage, Peter Hess Australia, offers here in Australia.

I’ve known Ute for many years. When I discovered that the courses will be on offer again in Melbourne, I was the first to be booked in!

I attended Sound Massage at the end of May. It tied in nicely with my recent visit the weekend before at OM Reiki Centre, so I had two wonderful weekends back-to back, mingling with likeminded people. Perfect.

It also got me to think about the direction of different areas of my life. About my path of service. About which actions to take. And, like many people, about the state of the world itself.

I believe that the world needs healing on a deeper level. The work I do at Create Movement always makes me happy, and I know part of it, is seeing how clients improve, heal and move better through life. Not only physically, but also more mindfully. Improving life with movement is one important aspect; to embark on a wholehearted healing journey, one has to have a healthy mind and spirit.

Sound Massage is a wonderful way to experience another layer of healing, and in many cultures sound and mediation with music is felt in the body and felt in our energy centres. It is important to create harmony in an imbalanced system, and it can be done with sound healing.

My dreams about travelling to Bhutan or Nepal have been long life longings and I always said that I want to hear the sounds of a gong in the temples. I want to be high up in the mountains and hear the monks chanting.

I am learning a lot about sound and the fundamental tone and overtones. Comprehensive courses like those at Sound Massage, Peter Hess® Sound Massage and the course books give me insight into how much knowledge is behind sound and frequency, mediation and the sound bowls placed on the body in a sound massage.

The singing bowls and mallets I use for a basic sound massage are from the Peter Hess Academy, and I will tell you a little bit more about the manufacturing and origins of the bowls in sessions, SOMA VITA and the retreats.

The production process of the sound bowls takes place in Nepal and India. The sound of them touches our core and elevates our soul. Knowing that they are produced ethically and that they come from the place where for thousands of years, sound healing was practiced, gives me satisfaction and a connection with the past.

I am undertaking a course which is holistic, healing and therapeutic with a profound impact on my health and wellbeing.

I invite you to have a look at the Peter Hess webpage and you will see for yourself that it is a highly educational platform, that has been established for many years.  https://www.hess-sound.de/en/blogs/news/peter-hess-sound-massage?srsltid=AfmBOorPvg16RiJhWkbiOb6PwpgYxc2ETiHa50PJ39wEehw5CypAc0wq

What can you expect from sound massage: Maintaining health and healing with singing bowls - their use is  manyfold: from lowering high blood pressure to total stress relief.

A few days after I started the course, I went out for a lunch with a dear friend. She complimented on my skin. “Claudia”, I said to myself “this is the sound massages. Not only did they give me a calm and centred mind, but they also show up on my skin. Best of all, the nagging pain I had on my left side of the knee is gone.”

For me this is the real deal, a complementary method that fits in well with my versatile holistic health/ healing sessions. Not only healing professionals are using Peter Hess Sound Massage Techniques to help people. It is also Practitioners in the field of Pain Therapy, Physiotherapy and Osteotherapy.

For your personal stress management and a wonderful way to bring harmony into your body and energy centres, reduce pain, support sleep, changes in immunological parameters and changes in blood sugar level, I would highly recommend you to book in, for a sesssion!
